The Love Me for Me book is a collection of 5 stories. The collection of stories include Different like me, Some dreams do come true, Too Cool for School, What My Mommy Did For Me, and Super Secret. Different Like Me, Some Dreams Do Come True and Too Cool for School were written by former SIUE students Zach Henderson, Kayla Koger, and Beth Gombos, respectively. These stories are geared towards preteens, except the What My Mommy Did For Me book, which is about a younger child. It is included here because it addresses the relationship between the mother and the child, rather than a story about a child. It brings up some issues that one might not think of when a parent transitions, hence it is included here. Super Secret is a story about a child with non-binary identity feelings and is written by Aminata Cairo and Samir Barrett. This book is accompanied by a discussion guide.
